Job Description

We are looking for a Business Developer for our partner in the ENERGY SECTOR.

It is a great opportunity to understand how the energy industry works. You'll be joining a young and dynamic team with excellent opportunities to advance within the group!

Location: Budapest + home office (cca 50%)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participation in expanding the Regulatory Center (MAVIR RSZSZ market-operating SZK) of the company
  • Preparation of contract drafts and coordination with partners
  • Measurement of the outcomes of implemented contracts and integration of experiences into internal processes
  • Performing economic calculations
  • Collaborating on the development of new products, offers, and services
  • Customer relationship management
  • Preparing internal proposals and other decision-support materials
  • Preparing presentations for clients and for internal use
  • Representing the company group at professional forums and other representational appearances
  • Identifying new potential clients, organizing introductory meetings, and involving senior management and business unit leaders as needed, depending on the client type and requirements
  • Preparing offers with the involvement of relevant business units
  • Following up on offers, negotiating modification requests with clients and business units
  • Preparing technical and commercial parts of procurement documentation related to contracts
  • Related administrative activities

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Has at least 3–5 years of experience in the energy or building services (MEP) sector
  • Holds a higher education degree (economics or engineering)
  • Possesses advanced project management skills
  • Capable to work independently
  • Has professional-level English proficiency
  • Has experience in contract preparation and negotiation
  • Familiar with energy generation and storage technologies
  • Familiar with industry regulations and laws, and can navigate them
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and have an open personality
  • Characterized by a proactive attitude
  • Has user-level knowledge of MS Office
  • Holds a driving license, category B

NICE TO HAVE:

  • English -Negotiation-level
  • Knowledge of electrical energy wholesale markets, especially the system-wide service market
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros)
