Job Description

The Business & Delivery Analyst, HSS Research Solutions, supports the delivery and implementation of HSS Research Solutions. The role focuses on understanding client research workflows (clinical trials, biobanking, and data capture) and translating requirements into solution configurations and specifications. This role bridges client needs and platform capabilities, ensuring solutions align with business requirements while remaining within technical and operational constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to capture and clarify business needs, research workflows, and solution requirements

• Translate requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria to support delivery and development activities

• Configure base solution functionality in accordance with approved requirements and support customization activities through detailed specifications for workflows and reporting

• Work closely with cross-functional team members to ensure requirements are understood and implemented as intended.

• Participate in client discussions, workshops, and walkthroughs to support solution alignment and ensure clarity of requirements

• Support testing, validation, and implementation activities including test scenario preparation, validation against requirements, defect tracking, and issue resolution

• Contribute to go-live readiness and post-release verification activities to ensure successful implementation outcomes

• Support development and delivery of training sessions and user documentation to enable adoption and effective use of the solution

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and a clear understanding of client needs and solution usage

• Maintain structured documentation and contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of delivery practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• ~2+ years of experience in business analysis, solution delivery, or software implementation

• Experience gathering and documenting requirements (user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria)

• Strong ability to translate complex workflows into structured, actionable requirements and solution designs

• Experience working in client-facing delivery environments with cross-functional teams

• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to identify risks and dependencies

• Understanding of configurable platforms and how requirements translate into delivered solutions

• Experience with healthcare, clinical research, or biobanking workflows required

• Exposure to regulated or SOP-driven delivery environments preferred

• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., APIs, HL7, FHIR) preferred

• Experience supporting testing, validation, UAT, or release activities within delivery projects preferred
