We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Data Analyst to join our Group Data and AI Office (GDAIO) Team at Royal London. This role is suited to candidates who have practical experience working with data, requirements and business stakeholders, and who are looking to develop their career within a supportive data change environment. You will bring strong analytical thinking, curiosity, attention to detail and a collaborative approach to helping teams understand and use data effectively.
The Business Data Analyst will support the delivery of high-quality analysis across data change initiatives. You will help collect, map, analyse and document information and requirements, working with source system SMEs, business teams and data colleagues to understand data structures, data dictionaries and source-to-target mappings. The role will involve supporting value-chain mapping of data, interpreting relevant performance and financial information, and helping create reusable documentation artefacts that support delivery by engineering and project teams
Working closely with Data Engineering teams, Business SMEs and project colleagues, the Business Data Analyst will analyse data systems, translate findings into clear requirements and support project teams throughdiscovery, impact assessment, data sourcing, migration and delivery activity. This is a hands-on analysis role where you will be encouraged to build your knowledge of Royal London’s data landscape, contribute to good analytical practice and develop confidence in working across both business and technical teams
