Job Description

The Business & Data Analyst bridges business stakeholders and the tech team. This role gathers requirements, designs store processes, defines KPIs, and ensures data-driven decision-making within StoreOps systems.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end system architecture for StoreOps platforms (POS, inventory, supply chain, store reporting).
• Define microservices, event-driven, or monolithic architectures as appropriate.
• Design high-availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems.
• Create API standards, integration patterns, and data flow architecture.
• Establish cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure patterns.
  

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical direction to backend and frontend engineers.
• Conduct architecture reviews and design approvals.
• Define coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
• Drive performance optimization and system hardening.
  

Integration & Enterprise Alignment

• Lead integrations with ERP, eCommerce, CRM, payment gateways, WMS, and third-party vendors.
• Define security models (RBAC, authentication, encryption, compliance).
• Ensure alignment with enterprise IT standards and governance.
  

Quality & Risk Management

• Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure observability (logging, monitoring, tracing).
• Drive disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in software engineering, 3+ years in architecture or tech lead role.
• Strong experience in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
• Expertise in REST APIs, event-driven systems, message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Database design (SQL/NoSQL) and performance tuning.
• Experience in retail/store systems is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
