💻 THE ROLE

We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a Business Data Analyst for a national project.

🙂 YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders, data owners, and regulatory teams.
  
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications (user stories, acceptance criteria, data‑model diagrams).
  
  • Create and maintain documentation (requirements catalog, data dictionary, process maps, test plans).
  
  • Facilitate test planning by participating in design test cases
  
  • Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders through sprint demos, status reports and reviews.
  
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the transversal framework, propose enhancements.
  
  • Collaborate with the ETL development team to design optimal data‑flow and transformation logic.
  
  • Define, implement, and maintain the data‑quality framework (rules, thresholds, validation checks).

💡 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven professional experience in similar roles.
• SQL development skills (Oracle is the DB used).
• PL/SQL development skills.
• IBM Datastage PX and/or other similar ETL tools.
• Agile Project‑Management Tools – Manage backlogs, user stories, and traceability in Jira or Azure DevOps; ensure requirements are linked to test cases and delivery artifacts.
• Data Analysis & Visualization – Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), statistical summarization, and create visual insights (Power BI, Tableau, or Excel) to support requirement‐gathering and decision‑making.
• Data‑Quality & Profiling Techniques – Use data‑profiling methods to define validation rules, cleansing procedures, and quality‑metric dashboards.
• Fluency in both English and Portuguese (written & spoken), proficiency in French is a plus.
