MANTECH seeks a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Business Data Analyst to join our team in Herndon, VA In this role, you will bring your expertise in data visualization and analytics to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support mission objectives. You will create and manage dashboards, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. Candidates must have direct customer-facing experience, including requirements gathering, solution walkthroughs, and presentation of analytical insights to diverse audiences. A strong customer service mindset and the ability to clearly communicate complex data are required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations primarily using Tableau delivering actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver high-impact data products.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, measure performance, and support strategic initiatives through the definition, measurement, and monitoring of program KPIs.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across multiple platforms and visualizations.
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting needs and deliver timely, reliable data solutions.
  • Work with IT and data engineering teams to integrate data sources and support automation of data workflows.
  • Support documentation and best practices related to reporting standards, data governance, and analytics processes.
  • Your standard work schedule will be Monday through Friday, within the core hours of 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 11+ years of experience, or Associate’s Degree with 9+ years, or Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Tableau and Microsoft Excel, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and advanced functions such as pivot tables, and custom formulas within the customer environment.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, and SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience defining, measuring, and monitoring program KPIs to support performance tracking and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard development.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Reporting and Performance Analytics.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to deliver meaningful insights to leadership and decision-makers.
  • Previous experience supporting IT service management, business operations analytics, or strategic performance monitoring.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or ITSM processes, particularly within the ServiceNow platform.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer, phone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time. Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers.
