Job Description

Business Data & AI Lead

The Data Business & AI Lead is responsible for defining and executing the data and AI strategy across an assigned multi-market portfolio, with a strong focus on Latin America, ensuring that data is governed, trusted, accessible, and activated as a competitive asset that powers commercial decision-making, operational excellence, and AI-driven capabilities at scale.

This role serves as the single point of accountability for data strategy, governance, quality, and AI enablement, translating global data domain strategies into effective local execution while ensuring market-specific needs and insights are reflected back into the enterprise-wide data agenda.

The role ensures that commercial, marketing, and digital teams operate with harmonized, high-quality, and activation-ready data, and that AI initiatives are built on robust foundations capable of delivering trusted, scalable, and compliant intelligence.

The focus markets present a uniquely complex data landscape, shaped by diverse regulatory environments across multiple countries, fragmented market structures, different levels of data maturity, heterogeneous retail and healthcare ecosystems, and a broad range of external data providers with varying quality and coverage. This role brings strategic clarity and operational discipline to that complexity by establishing a unified regional data vision while navigating local market realities.

The Data Business & AI Lead bridges global standards with local execution, ensuring that data investments are coordinated rather than duplicated, and that all markets benefit from enterprise governance, shared best practices, and scalable AI-enabled capabilities.

This role requires a leader who combines strategic vision with strong execution discipline — someone equally comfortable presenting a data roadmap to regional leadership, resolving cross-market data quality escalations, shaping AI use cases with data science teams, engaging with local data vendors, and coaching market stakeholders on governance standards.

The role operates with an AI-first mindset, understanding that every governance decision, quality improvement, and data product either enables or constrains the organization’s ability to scale AI successfully.
