About the role and the team

We’re looking for a Business Controller to join our Infrastructure Finance team. This role offers a broad scope of responsibilities across project controlling, business controlling, financial planning, and performance management, supporting both large-scale infrastructure projects and ongoing operations.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our financial planning, reporting, and decision-making processes are solid, transparent, and aligned with long-term ambitions. The role includes significant project controlling responsibilities for large-scale infrastructure projects, combined with opex business controlling across the organization.

You’ll work closely with business owners, project managers, and senior stakeholders, providing financial insight, challenging assumptions, and supporting value-creating decisions. With a strong focus on performance, profitability, and cash flow, you’ll help prioritize the right initiatives and ensure financial clarity across projects and operations.

Your closest colleagues will be a Nordic team of finance professionals working in a hybrid setup across locations. You’ll report to the Director, Infra and Tech Business Finance and be part of a collaborative, cross-border finance environment where financial insights actively guide decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial controlling of large-scale infrastructure projects, including planning, follow-up, and performance tracking
  • Business controlling of opex, including budget ownership and cost transparency
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and monthly book close and reporting
  • Developing and maintaining financial models, analyses, and dashboards
  • Supporting business cases, investment decisions, and governance forums with financial insights
  • Partnering with business stakeholders and project managers as a trusted financial advisor
  • Driving continuous improvements in financial processes, tools, and ways of working
  • Conducting ad hoc analyses to identify financial risks, opportunities, and performance drivers

Why join the GlobalConnect Finance team?

You’ll be part of a collaborative and informal Nordic finance team, working close to the business and contributing directly to projects and decisions that shape critical infrastructure. The role offers exposure to both strategic investment projects and day-to-day business performance, with strong opportunities to grow professionally within a complex, impactful organization.

You don’t need to send a personal letter unless there’s something you want us to know beyond your CV or LinkedIn profile — we’re simply looking forward to getting to know you.
