YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As a Business Controller at Voi, you will work across all our markets to drive financial and operational performance, partnering closely with senior market managers and the Group leadership team. You will be a key contributor in driving growth and profitability towards our corporate and investor goals, translating data into clear insights and concrete initiatives. Based at our Stockholm HQ, you will be part of a lean, AI‑native Corporate Development & FP&A team where automation and AI tools are core to how we work.
In this role you will:
Link strategy to operational and financial targets, using past performance, planned improvements and overall strategy to set budgets and targets together with market managers.
Build and manage forecasting and reporting tools in Excel/Google Sheets and our data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake).
Own the monthly rolling forecast of revenue and costs in close collaboration with the markets.
Analyse financial and operational performance, present insights and support decisions together with Group and Market management teams.
Identify efficiency and profitability opportunities through detailed data analysis and turn findings into concrete initiatives.
Help drive cross‑market efficiency projects from analysis through to implementation.
Prepare and drive recurring business review meetings, following up on performance and advising senior managers on actions to reach targets and budgets.
Develop business cases and frameworks for expansions, investments and other strategic projects.
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
You are a commercially minded, analytical team player who enjoys working with data, building structure and partnering with stakeholders. You combine strong quantitative skills with clear communication, and you are curious about how AI can improve the way we work.
We believe you have:
A relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g. finance, accounting, economics, industrial engineering, data science or statistics) with a strong academic track record, or equivalent practical experience.
1–2 years of experience in FP&A, business control, commercial finance, audit or advisory (Big Four or similar). Exceptional recent graduates with strong quantitative profiles will also be considered.
Solid financial knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
Strong quantitative and data‑analysis skills, with experience working with large datasets.
Proficiency in SQL for querying data and building reporting, and hands‑on experience with a data warehouse environment such as Snowflake.
Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
Demonstrated daily use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) in analytical and/or research workflows.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
It is a plus (not a must) if you also bring:
Experience with R and/or Python for data analysis.
Experience building or configuring AI agents, automations or custom AI workflows.
Swedish language skills.
Don’t meet every requirement? If you are excited about this role and our mission, and have relevant, transferable skills, we encourage you to apply – even if you don’t check every box.
