Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded Business Controller - Commerce to partner with our Traditional Sales team and drive informed decision-making that supports profitable growth. Reporting to the Business Control Manager - Commerce, you'll provide financial insights, analysis and decision support to help optimise revenue, gross margin and commercial performance.

You'll work closely with Sales, Finance and other key stakeholders to support planning, forecasting, reporting and commercial decision-making while ensuring strong financial controls and continuous improvement across the business.

What you'll do

  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to support commercial performance.
  • Partner with Sales teams to drive profitable revenue and margin growth.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning processes.
  • Deliver pricing, promotional and customer profitability analysis.
  • Provide financial evaluation and modelling to support business decisions.
  • Support innovation projects with financial analysis and post-launch reviews.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting and month-end activities.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, improve and strengthen business processes.
  • Help build commercial capability across the sales function through financial insights and data support.

What you'll bring

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Experience in commercial finance, business partnering or financial analysis.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
  • Experience working with financial modelling, forecasting and reporting.
  • The ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • FMCG experience is advantageous.
