Job Description

One of Sweden's leading telecom company is looking for a Business Controller for a consultant assignment. The client's vision is to find smart and unrestricted solutions together with engaged contributors who are ready to join the mission for a society without limitations.

Duration: 2026-05-26 to 2027-01-29, with a possibility of extension.

About the role

In General Business, controllers are responsible for overseeing our client’s financial activities, including budgeting, financial reporting, and some accounting. They ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies while managing the financial reporting process and preparing accurate financial statements.

Business Controllers analyze financial data to provide insights into our client’s performance and help guide strategic decision-making. They assist the finance team, ensuring efficient operations and effective management of resources. Their goal is to maintain the integrity of financial information and support the overall financial health of our client.

What you'll do

  • Business controllers act as a strategic partner: Support and challenge the business area through proactive analysis, business cases, and decision-making support

  • Drive financial processes: Be responsible for and further develop forecasting and closing processes within your area of responsibility

  • Identify business opportunities: Use sharp analysis to identify and highlight both risks and opportunities in order to optimize profitability

  • Create clarity from complexity: Develop and maintain reporting that explains financial results and trends to management in a clear and educational way

  • Improve and simplify: Contribute to the continuous development and optimization of processes across the organization
