Teledyne Technologies Incorporated provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets that require advanced technology and high reliability. These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.

We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.

We believe that progress and opportunities are best created together. At FLIR TransponderTech, collaboration, different perspectives, and mutual respect are central to how we work and succeed.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Controller to join FLIR TransponderTech in Linköping. In this role, you will be a key financial partner to the General Manager and the leadership team, supporting sound decision‑making, business performance, and long‑term financial development.

You will have a broad responsibility covering financial management, reporting, and governance, while also contributing to strategy and continuous improvement. The role is part of the Executive Leadership Team and offers real influence on both business direction and financial processes.

This position suits someone who enjoys combining analytical work with collaboration, who is motivated by understanding the business as a whole, and who thrives in an international environment with room to shape and improve.

Your Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Business Partnering

  • Contribute to the financial strategy in line with TransponderTech and Teledyne Maritime Group objectives
  • Act as a financial partner to the General Manager and leadership team, supporting decisions related to growth, margins, and investments
  • Support the organization in reaching financial targets and business goals

Financial Management and Reporting

  • Responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Internal (US GAAP) and external (local GAAP) financial reporting
  • Analyze financial results, KPIs, and variances, and translate them into clear insights and recommendations

Accounting, Tax, and Compliance

  • Overall responsibility for accounting, financial closing, and annual reporting
  • Coordinate collaboration with internal and external auditors
  • Responsibility for VAT and corporate tax filings, and cooperation with Corporate Tax on transfer pricing and tax matters
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies

Treasury, Risk, and Internal Control

  • Liquidity planning and cash‑flow management in collaboration with Corporate Treasury
  • Maintain relationships with banks and other financial partners
  • Identify and manage financial and operational risks
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls and financial processes

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead and develop the local finance function
  • Foster efficient ways of working, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
  • Support digitalization and best practices within finance

About You

You bring relevant experience in finance, controlling, or business partnering and are motivated by taking on a broad and influential role. You combine analytical skills with a collaborative approach and enjoy working with people from different functions and backgrounds.

We believe that strong candidates can look different, so we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every requirement listed below.

  • Relevant academic degree in finance, accounting, or business administration, or equivalent experience
  • Experience from roles within finance, controlling, or business analysis, preferably in an international or group environment
  • Good understanding of accounting, reporting, and financial analysis (US GAAP experience is an advantage, not a requirement)
  • Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and adapt messages to different stakeholders
  • Experience of leading others, or a strong motivation to grow into a people‑leadership role with an inclusive and supportive approach
  • Proactive and solution‑oriented, with the ability to work both strategically and hands‑on
  • Strong communication skills in English; Swedish is an advantage, and we support continued language development where needed

Why Join FLIR TransponderTech?

At FLIR TransponderTech, you will contribute to technologies that enhance safety and sustainability in the maritime domain and beyond. We aim to offer a workplace where people feel respected, included, and supported to do their best work.

We offer:

  • An inclusive and flexible work environment
  • A key role with real influence on business decisions
  • Opportunities for professional and personal development within an international group
  • A culture built on trust, collaboration, and shared purpose
  • A recruitment process that is accessible to all – if you need adjustments or support, we are happy to accommodate

What You’ll Be Part Of
