Job Description

We are recruiting for a senior compliance and governance professional to join a global financial institution operating in the Cayman Islands. The organization is part of a large international financial services group aligned with a global private wealth and investment platform, serving high-net-worth, and ultra-high-net-worth clients worldwide.

The Business Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and strong governance across the business, with a particular focus on client onboarding oversight, internal audits, and regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will lead internal inspections, develop and maintain audit frameworks and compliance protocols, document findings, and drive remediation efforts in collaboration with key stakeholders. The position also supports regulatory, financial, and non-financial reporting to local authorities and contributes to the development of policies, procedures, and controls, while working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain operational integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional designation in Compliance, Capital Markets, or Corporate Finance Law with strong knowledge of Cayman Islands AML regulations.
• Experience in compliance, risk management, and private banking operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment
• Leadership and interpersonal skills with proven track record in financial services.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
