As the Business Control Analyst for Land Operations & Intermodal, you will be at the heart of enhancing inland logistics and intermodal solutions across 16 vibrant countries in the NEUR region. This is not just a role - it’s a chance to influence outcomes, drive performance, and unlock growth opportunities. You will be a key player in analyzing data, optimizing processes, and bridging operational insights with strategic vision. Key Responsibilities

Data-Driven Insights & Strategic Reporting

  • Harness data from systems like LARA, SIGMA, LOAD, ITB, and TOPS to deliver actionable insights.
  • Develop and present comprehensive reports (e.g., Land Identity Cards, Matchback, AM–PM reports) to regional and HQ stakeholders.
  • Conduct margin and performance analyses, providing strategic recommendations to optimize profitability.
  • Lead GAP analyses and ensure system consistency, proposing corrective measures as needed.

Commercial Strategy & Growth Enablement

  • Collaborate on commercial action plans to grow Carrier Haulage (CH) volumes and elevate green ratio KPIs.
  • Maximize extra service revenues in partnership with Customer Service teams.
  • Contribute to the development of new products, routings, and investment opportunities, driving innovation and differentiation.

Process Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the linchpin between Land Operations, Trade, and Commercial teams, fostering seamless collaboration.
  • Become a trusted expert on inland quotation processes, offering guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify underperforming areas and spearhead margin improvement initiatives.

Network Leadership & Knowledge Sharing

  • Animate and coordinate the network of ILS and Cross-Sell Managers, ensuring alignment with HQ strategy.
  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing by disseminating best practices and regional insights across teams.
  • Challenge pricing strategies and encourage proactive collaboration between sales and intermodal functions.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into impactful insights.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with business intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Clear and compelling communication of both technical and commercial topics.
  • A solution-oriented approach with a proactive, curious mindset.
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in land operations and/or intermodal logistics is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Spanish is a valuable addition.
