Business Continuity Senior Business Analyst Location: New York, NY Schedule: Hybrid, 3–4 days onsite per week Duration: 9-month contract with potential for extension and full-time conversion based on contractor performance. Start : ASAP Position Overview We are seeking a Business Continuity Senior Business Analyst to support ongoing Business Continuity Planning (BCP) transformation initiatives within a financial services environment. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused heavily on enhancing BCP testing frameworks, documentation, and overall program effectiveness. Ideal Candidate: A hands-on BCP professional who can independently create deliverables and is comfortable working in an evolving environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance BCP testing templates, test plans, scripts, scenarios, and post-test reporting. Conduct quality reviews of Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Support development of site plans, crisis communication procedures, and emergency response documentation. Assist with BCM dashboards, KPIs/KRIs, metrics, and management reporting. Enhance business continuity training materials and program documentation. Support ongoing BCP and Operational Resilience initiatives. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, or related financial services risk functions. Strong hands-on BCP experience, preferably within a financial institution. Knowledge of BCP and Operational Resilience standards and regulatory requirements, including FFIEC and ISO 22301. Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree required. MBCP, CBCP, MBCI, FBCI, or similar certification preferred.
