Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Business Continuity Manager who will lead the day-to-day management, coordination, and maintenance of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme.

This role is critical to ensuring CLM remains aligned with regional office policy and framework, while continuing to deliver critical products and services at acceptable predefined levels during and after a disruptive incident.

What are we expecting from this role?

  • Own and manage the end-to-end BCM programme on a day-to-day basis.

  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the BCM framework in line with Group BCM Standards.

  • Monitor and review the effectiveness, adequacy, and relevance of the BCM programme.

  • Coordinate the development, review, and annual update of departmental and functional Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).

  • Follow up with departments to ensure annual BCP updates are completed and identified gaps are addressed.

  • Act as the central coordination point during BCP activation, supporting management and business units throughout incident response and recovery.

  • Consolidate recovery status updates from Business Continuity Coordinators (BCCs) and departments.

  • Coordinate closely with teams such as IT, Property, Risk & Compliance, HR, and business units during incidents involving alternate sites, remote working, or manual workarounds.

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee BCM testing and exercises, including call tree tests, alternate site readiness, fire drills, disaster recovery exercises, and tabletop exercises.

  • Ensure BCM awareness and training activities, including induction training, are conducted so employees understand their roles, responsibilities, and procedures.

  • Track test outcomes, report findings, and follow up on remediation actions.

  • Provide regular BCM updates to management committees, BCM Steering Committees, Regional Office, and relevant stakeholders.

  • Support audits, regulatory reviews, and due diligence requests related to BCM.

  • Promote BCM governance and embed continuity considerations into business and operational decision-making.

Who is the right fit for this role?

  • 3–4 years of experience in Business Continuity Management, operational risk, resilience, crisis management, or a related field.

  • Experience working in a regulated or complex organization.

  • A degree in Business, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Professional BCM or resilience certification is a plus.

  • Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills.

  • Able to stay calm and effective during incidents or disruptions.

  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and governance mindset.

  • Good knowledge of BCM frameworks, including ISO 22301.

  • Experience in BIA, RTO/RPO, BCP development, incident coordination, and recovery reporting.

  • Familiarity with BCM testing, IT disaster recovery, audit support, and vendor continuity oversight.
