Business Continuity & Internal Controls Lead will be responsible for ensuring the resilience of business operations and strengthening the internal control environment across finance and operational processes.

You will play a key role in driving the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program, supporting audit readiness, and leading continuous improvement initiatives, while managing a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and continuously improve the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program across GBS Europe, ensuring business resilience and readiness for crises
• Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA), risk assessments, and define recovery objectives for critical processes and services
• Develop, maintain, and test Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), including coordination of exercises and follow-up actions
• Collaborate with IT Disaster Recovery, process owners, and crisis management teams to align business and technology recovery strategies
• Oversee and enhance internal controls across finance and operational processes, performing testing, gap analysis, and remediation tracking
• Maintain process and control documentation, ensuring compliance and readiness for internal and external audits
• Promote risk awareness, control ownership, and best practices, providing guidance and support to stakeholders
• Lead a small team, providing day-to-day guidance, prioritization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Core Skills:

• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation across business, finance, and IT
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives across multiple teams
• Fluent English (C1) with excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); comfortable with KPIs, evidence management, and reporting
• Experience in GBS / Shared Services environments, ideally with exposure to finance operations and internal controls
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance processes, internal control principles, and audit requirements

Additional / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in a multinational, matrixed environment
• Experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM)
