What you do
Handle customer account opening and ongoing account maintenance processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures.
Perform periodic Review (PR) and Trigger Event Review (TER) activities, ensuring all reviews are completed accurately and within prescribed timelines.
Monitor and maintain the effectiveness of ongoing compliance controls, identifying potential gaps, risks, or areas for enhancement.
Proactively track review status and workflows to prevent backlogs, delays, and potential regulatory breaches.
Ensure regulatory readiness by ensuring proper documentation, audit trails, and evidence are maintained to meet internal audit, compliance testing requirements.
Responsible for implementation of updated regulatory requirements, internal policies, and control enhancements, including communication and guidance to business users.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, preferably within Wholesale Banking, Corporate Banking, Business Compliance functions.
Sound knowledge of customer due diligence (CDD), KYC, AML, PR/TER requirements, and relevant regulatory expectations applicable to wholesale / corporate clients.
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with compliance, operations, and risk teams.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset to identify risks and propose practical solutions.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
