Velerity Compute is Sprout’s fast-growing AI server and GPU hardware division. Our operations run on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC), and we need a hands-on BC specialist onsite in Texas to manage the full product lifecycle: receiving and classifying inbound hardware, maintaining the item master, processing sales orders, keeping physical and system inventory in sync, and ensuring every transaction is documented before product moves.

You’ll be the go-to BC resource during US business hours, bridging the gap between our UK-based ERP team and a high-volume Texas warehouse operation that configures and ships enterprise GPU servers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end inbound flow in BC: purchase order receipts, item creation, bin assignment, and inventory posting for all incoming hardware.
• Own the item master and SKU catalog – components (CPUs, GPUs, DIMMs, SSDs, NICs) and configured server BOMs must be accurate and current.
• Process sales orders through BC: quote-to-order conversion, shipment posting, invoicing, and serial-number-level traceability on outbound loads.
• Reconcile physical and system inventory daily; investigate variances, manage bin structures, and maintain BC as the trusted book of record.
• Validate server configurations for technical accuracy before quotes ship: specs, compatibility, and ancillary items.
• Maintain and extend BC process documentation, training materials, and knowledge-base articles for the operations and sales teams.
• Train US team members on BC workflows: receiving, quoting, reconfiguration, and outbound processing

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) in distribution, manufacturing, assembly, or ITAD/refurbishment.
• Strong grasp of core BC modules: item master, inventory management (bins, locations, transfers), sales & purchasing, warehouse management, and financial posting.
• Experience with assembly/BOM structures and serialized inventory tracking.
• Ability to keep physical and system inventory in sync: cycle counts, variance investigation, and reconciliation.
• Process-documentation mindset – you write things down, build flowcharts, and create training materials without being asked.
• Detail-oriented with low tolerance for workarounds that bypass the system.
• Strong communicator comfortable translating between technical, warehouse, and sales teams.
• Familiarity with server hardware, data center equipment, or IT asset disposition (ITAD).
• Experience with intercompany transactions or multi-entity billing in BC.
• Background training non-technical users on ERP systems and building internal knowledge bases.
