About the Role

The position is mainly responsible for ensuring that SSM Business Center Specialist is able to work with all stakeholders and effectively provide support to sales channels in handling new business and all after-sales transactions. Business Center also works with other departments that will help improve sales production and operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provides immediate support to sales for new business applications such as NB screening to ensure all requirements are complete, working with all stakeholders for the submission of requirements and making sure that all endorsements for prioritization during month-end cut off will be processed and issued
  • Provides necessary support to sales for aftersales transactions such as assessment of requirements in accordance with process and guidelines and endorsement to the concerned units.
  • Communicates clearly with sales the pending requirements to complete processing of the transaction.
  • Work with other business units to ensure resolution of escalated cases raised by sales.
  • Cascade to sales team, Operations and other sales support related communications that will help them execute their BAU and ensure their compliance with the agreed requirements and handling.
  • Prepare and conduct a presentation to their assigned division during general assembly to cascade important updates, reports, and other items.
  • Develop the required reports and cascade them to sales to help them improve their sales productivity and persistency.
  • Helps the business center manager in developing and implementing policies and procedures to support and improve sales support processes.
  • Works with other stakeholders in other business requirements such as documenting a process, establishing the system requirements, initiating projects when necessary and others.
  • Creates quick guides and FAQs for sales reference in their day-to-day transactions.
  • Ensure that all tasks are handled in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Performs other task/s as needed.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Graduate 4- or 5-year course in Business, Management or other relevant fields
  • At least 2 years of work experience preferably with operations role or other similar field.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding on process design and control, can read effectively data and reports.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • With readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
  • Adept in the use of Power point, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
