Job Description

Join the Business Banking Sales Finance team as a Field Support Associate for an exciting opportunity where you will contribute to the success of our sales teams by providing essential financial support, data analysis, and reporting. This is a great opportunity to build foundational skills in banking finance and gain exposure to business banking operations.

As a Field Support Associate in the Business Banking Finance team, you will assist with financial reporting, help analyze results, and support profitability objectives. You will work closely with the Business Banking finance team, Division Finance Managers, and field teams providing support for presentations, business reviews, and ad-hoc projects. Your role will focus on data gathering, financial analysis, and supporting business initiatives.

Job responsibilities

  • Assist Division Finance Managers and the Business Banking National Sales team with preparing reports, presentations, and analysis.
  • Support the collection and organization of financial data for quarterly management meetings and divisional business reviews.
  • Help maintain and update balance sheet and income statement data for Divisions, Markets, and Areas.
  • Compile statistical and productivity data to support profitability decisions and business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Market and Area management teams to provide financial data and reporting as needed.
  • Assist with data analysis on customer behavior to support business growth and reporting needs.
  • Support documentation and record-keeping for finance projects and business cases.



Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline (internships or relevant coursework may be considered).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize financial information clearly.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.



Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with financial systems is a plus.
  • Exposure to PitchPro, Essbase, Business Objects, Tableau, or Alteryx is a plus, with on-the-job training available.
