About the Role


As a Business Bank Sales in our Commercial Sales team, you’ll play a key role in acting as the primary front-office contact for Suncorp migrated Rates and FX clients, ensuring a seamless transition into ANZ Markets. The role is responsible for coordinating client onboarding, establishing required dealing and trading infrastructure, supporting product implementation and digital channel adoption, and facilitating an effective handover to specialist sales and dealing teams. The objective is to deliver an efficient, end-to-end client migration experience while maintaining high standards of customer service, operational readiness and risk management.

What will your day look like?

You will be accountable for:

Client Migration & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the ANZ front-office point of contact for migrated Suncorp Rates and FX customers.
  • Manage client engagement throughout the migration and onboarding lifecycle.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between clients and internal stakeholders to resolve onboarding, documentation and system-related queries.
  • Provide proactive communication and support to ensure a positive client transition experience.


Product Onboarding & Implementation

  • Coordinate onboarding across Markets products including:
    • Interest Rates
    • FX
    • Commodities
  • Partner with Operations, Client Services, Technology and Product teams to ensure onboarding requirements are completed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and escalate issues impacting client readiness.

Platform & Dealing Infrastructure Setup

  • Ensure all required client profiles and permissions are established across relevant front-office and trading platforms, including:
    • MIDANZ
    • Murex
    • Other relevant Markets systems and digital channels
  • Coordinate with support teams to validate system access, trading authorities and dealing permissions prior to go-live.

Client Education & Digital Adoption

  • Deliver client demonstrations and training sessions for electronic platforms.
  • Support clients in understanding platform functionality, dealing processes and self-service capabilities.
  • Promote digital adoption and utilisation of ANZ Markets channels.

Stakeholder Management & Handover

  • Facilitate the transition of clients to the appropriate ongoing coverage model.
  • Conduct structured handovers to:
    • FX Specialists
    • FX Dealers
    • Interest Rate Specialists
    • Relationship and Sales teams as appropriate
  • Ensure all relevant client information, onboarding outcomes and future opportunities are communicated effectively to the receiving team.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all client onboarding activities comply with ANZ policies, regulatory obligations and Markets risk frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate records of onboarding status, system setup and client interactions.
  • Identify and escalate operational, conduct or client risks as required.

What will you bring?

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Markets products, particularly FX and Interest Rate hedging.
  • Understanding of client onboarding and customer migration processes.
  • Experience with Markets trading and sales platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to coordinate multiple onboarding activities concurrently.
  • Ability to communicate complex products and systems in a simple client-friendly manner.
  • Proven ability to work across front office, operations, technology and product teams.
  • AFMA Accreditation preferred


Success Measures:

  • Successful migration and onboarding of Suncorp clients.
  • Timely completion of client dealing profiles and trading access.
  • High client satisfaction during transition.
  • Increased adoption of electronic trading channels.
  • Effective handover of clients to specialist coverage teams.
  • Minimal onboarding delays, errors or rework.
