Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid)
Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance, as required by federal contract.
The Business Automation Specialist will support DHS CISA's digital transformation initiatives by implementing automation solutions that streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance mission efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Identify and assess opportunities for workflow and process automation across business units.
Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and robotic process automation (RPA) solutions.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and system owners to integrate automation into enterprise systems.
Ensure compliance with DHS and federal IT security standards in automation solutions.
Create documentation and provide training for end users and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
3+ years of experience in business automation, process improvement, or related role.
Hands-on experience with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) and scripting languages.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.
