About the role

Connective is looking for a Business Automation Specialist to help us work smarter, faster and at greater scale through automation and AI.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, implement and improve automation solutions that reduce manual effort, streamline processes, and support teams to deliver better outcomes for brokers and members.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to embed practical, well-governed automation and AI into everyday ways of working.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identifying manual, repetitive, or high-friction processes and recommend automation opportunities
  • Designing and implement automation and AI-enabled solutions aligned to business priorities
  • Monitoring automation and platform performance to identify and deliver continuous improvements
  • Partnering with Technology, Data and Risk teams to ensure secure and scalable solutions
  • Supporting teams to adopt automation tools through training, documentation, and guidance
  • Tracking adoption, resolve friction points, and continuously improving user experience

The Person

Your strong attention to detail, stakeholder engagement skills and collaborative approach will set you up for success in this role. You will also bring:

  • Experience in the mortgage broking or third-party banking industry (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering automation, workflow or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Experience with customer support platforms (e.g. Intercom or similar).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • An analytical mindset with a solutions-focused approach and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence working with AI tools, automation platforms, and system integrations.
  • A self-motivated, hands-on, and outcomes-focused approach.
