We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of of Business Architecture Technology Support Lead/Associate Director
In this role, you will:
- Be accountable for support of the business architecture tooling platform (including ARIS & Celonis applications) including availability, performance, and user experience.
- Lead the bank’s Business Architecture Tooling IT support team, ensuring business process architecture, governance, and operational stability are delivered to a high standard. You’ll combine deep ARIS administration expertise with leadership of a multi-disciplinary pod to keep critical services running, compliant, and continuously improving and enhancing.
- Be responsible for RTB outcomes: stability, incident/problem/change management, Platform upgrades & maintenance, service requests, and continuous improvement. Drive operational excellence: reduce repeat incidents, improve automation, drive root-cause analysis, implementing permanent fixes and streamline support processes.
- Be responsible for managing stakeholders including the senior Business Architecture leads in the business, Process modellers and miners, Global Business Architecture, and senior management in Data Technology; Coordinate with upstream/downstream teams and vendors to resolve cross-boundary issues quickly.
- Set pod priorities, manage capacity, and run agile/lean ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retros, service reviews). Own service performance: SLAs/SLOs, backlog health and operational metrics. Own stakeholder reporting, providing clear executive updates including risks, dependencies, decisions required, and progress against roadmap.
- Oversee platform risk management in line with the Business Transformation Framework and HSBC Risk and Controls framework: audit trails, evidence capture, retention, and controls aligned to internal policy and regulatory expectations. Build succession and resilience into the operating model (documentation, cross-skilling, runbooks).
- Administer ARIS environments: configuration, user/role management, access controls, licensing, upgrades/patching coordination, and release planning. Support define and maintaining ARIS standards: modelling conventions, meta-model governance, naming standards, version control, and repository structure.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Practical, demonstratable knowledge of Business Architecture, Process Intelligence and Task Mining
- Recent experience in the hands-on ARIS administration experience (user/role design, repository governance, configuration, upgrades, and support).
- Experience across process architecture, enterprise tooling administration, and/or operational service leadership in a regulated environment (banking/financial services strongly preferred).
- Experience of managing a 3rd party Service as a Solution (SaaS) style platform.
- Strong experience leading service delivery teams using ITIL practices (Incident /Problem /Change /Request).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical and process topics for senior stakeholders.
- Ability to drive design decisions to conclusion across multiple stakeholders in Key interfaces: Operations, Technology, Risk & Compliance, Operational Resilience, Change/Transformation, Vendor partners
- Strong planning and execution skills in managing change and improvement initiatives
