The role sits upstream of and above business analysis, since the incumbent coaches analysts, validates their files and gives them direction. The executive dimension is explicit and recurring: workshops led with executives, executive-level writing, position papers presented to the project committee. The mandate opens the door to a senior business analyst background while also requiring 5 years in business architecture, which creates an eligibility ambiguity to be resolved. The P&C insurance domain frames the context without being a requirement: the sector requirement is limited to 2 years in insurance or financial services. Candidate sought: a business architect who has independently led architecture files on large multi-system projects in insurance or financial services, and who can run a workshop with executives and turn it into a position paper.
