POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager – Project Management Office is responsible for leading and supporting end-to-end program and project delivery across Integrated Business Services and supported functions. The role converts business priorities, operational needs, and improvement opportunities into structured projects and programs aligned with the Vertiv PMO Framework, ensuring governance, planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and benefits realization throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires a proactive, hands-on PMO leader who can assess current-state operations, identify opportunities and gaps, align stakeholders, drive delivery, and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained. As part of the PMO, this role maintains ownership across Transitions, Transformation, Process Optimization, and Operations Support Model. The role also serves as a Digital PMO and Business Enablement partner supporting automation, workflow digitization, reporting simplification, and data-driven decision making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Delivery, Continuous Improvement, and Execution
- Lead projects, transformation initiatives, process improvements, and technology-enabled business initiatives through implementation and benefits realization.
- Translate business priorities and improvement opportunities into structured programs aligned with the Vertiv PMO Framework.
- Conduct current-state assessments, process reviews, root cause analysis, and opportunity identification to drive operational efficiency and modernization.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve business processes, operating models, and delivery effectiveness across workstreams.
- Identify and drive opportunities for automation, workflow digitization, reporting modernization, AI-enabled solutions, and digital adoption.
Governance, Visibility, and Accountability
- Establish governance frameworks, executive reviews, and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility of progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and outcomes.
- Drive consistent execution through standardized PMO methodologies, dashboards, reporting tools, governance processes, and proactive risk management.
- Improve portfolio visibility and reporting effectiveness through automation, digital solutions, and data-driven reporting.
- Support PMO standardization and modernization through platforms such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, and Microsoft Lists.
Stakeholder Alignment and Process Improvement
- Partners with leaders, process owners, and stakeholders to align priorities, scope, resources, and delivery objectives.
- Facilitate workshops to identify business challenges, improvement opportunities, future-state solutions, and transformation priorities.
- Drive process standardization, operational excellence, and sustainable improvements aligned to business goals.
- Support adoption of technology-enabled processes, modernized stakeholder engagement, communication practices, and structured change management.
Digital Enablement and Execution Support
- Identify and lead opportunities for automation, workflow digitization, reporting modernization, and data-driven decision making.
- Leverage Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies to enhance efficiency, governance visibility, and scalability.
- Partner with Technology, Automation, Data & Analytics, and Business teams to implement practical digital solutions.
- Develop PMO standards, tools, dashboards, and governance mechanisms that improve organizational maturity.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Human Resources, Information Systems, Technology Management, or related fields.
- Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Change Management, or Continuous Improvement certification is an advantage.
- Power Platform, Power BI, Automation, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, or AI-related certifications strongly preferred.
Experience
- At least 8+ years of experience in project management, program management, transformation, continuous improvement, or shared services operations.
- Proven hands-on experience leading end-to-end transformation projects, from planning and stakeholder alignment to execution, stabilization, and benefits tracking.
- Hands-on experience managing project plans, milestones, risks, issues, action logs, governance routines, executive updates, and delivery dashboards.
- Strong experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Human Resources, Finance, Technology, Operations, or Global Business Services, etc.
- Practical experience in process improvement, Lean tools, process mapping, standard work, automation support, reporting, and operational performance improvement.
