Job Description

WorkCover Queensland is entering an exciting new chapter, guided by a renewed strategic focus and strong executive leadership shaping our 2030 Strategy. We’re embarking on an enterprise-wide transformation to strengthen our impact and continue making a positive difference in people’s lives.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact role shaping transformation across our Core Claims business and 2030 strategy program. You will work across multiple initiatives to ensure connected, end-to-end business design, acting as a trusted advisor to the Chief Operating & Technology Officer (COTO) and senior leaders to guide complex design decisions and clearly articulate their impacts across cost, people and customer outcomes. Bringing an enterprise lens, you’ll translate strategy into clear, decision-ready insights, align stakeholders, and support informed decisions where trade-offs are required. As the program evolves, you’ll lead the shift from design to delivery and embedment; driving adoption, monitoring benefits, and adjusting course where needed to ensure intended outcomes are achieved.

About You

  • 7+ years’ experience as a Business Architect, Business Analyst or Enterprise Architect with proven delivery on large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capability; able to navigate ambiguity and translate complexity into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong strategic capability supported by a delivery-focused approach
  • Demonstrated collaboration, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior executives using credibility, diplomacy and evidence-based thinking
  • Highly organised, able to operate across multiple initiatives and balance competing demands effectively
  • Innovative and forward-thinking, with a passion for systems thinking, design thinking and continuous improvement
