The Business Architect should possess a passion for shaping the strategic future of architecture and its tangible impact on the MS&S portfolio. You will be a key partner in translating IT specifics into compelling business language and visually communicating complex architectural concepts to diverse audiences, ensuring shared understanding and commitment.

Navigate Dynamic Landscapes: Demonstrate "Strategic Agility" by providing clarity and direction as business needs and market opportunities evolve.
Creative Strategy Design: Lead high-level discovery sessions and journey mapping to identify innovative ways to enhance the Dealer/Customer experience through architectural excellence.
Synthesize & Simplify: Transform complex, multi-domain information into clear, compelling strategic roadmaps that resonate with both technical teams and executive leadership.
Drive Enterprise Alignment: Look beyond individual product silos to ensure the entire MSS ecosystem is integrated, scalable, and aligned with Ford’s global goals.
Influence through Storytelling Use sophisticated modeling and visual communication to "pitch" architectural visions, securing buy-in for transformative ideas.
Advance the Practice: Contribute to the maturity of our Business Architecture guild by introducing creative methodologies and "out-of-the-box" thinking.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or IT related).
4+ years of experience as an architect on large-scale product or enterprise initiatives.
Strategic Comfort: Proven ability to operate effectively and provide leadership in evolving, high-growth environments.
Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to frame technical architecture within a broad, value-driven business context.
Advanced conceptual modeling skills, with a focus on representing complex ideas in simple, visual, and persuasive ways.
Practical experience with leading frameworks (e.g., BizBok, TOGAF) used as a foundation for creative problem-solving.
Preferred Requirements:
Master’s degree (Computer Science, Management Information Systems or IT related)
3+ years demonstrated business process analysis and design, with a focus on value stream mapping.
Experience with Ford IT architecture processes and architecture work.
Ability to provide expert consulting and leadership on process, capabilities, and information models, driving consensus and adoption.
Deep knowledge and practical experience with multiple architectural frameworks and methodologies, including BizBok, Zachman Framework, and TOGAF.
Experience with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) for detailed process modeling.
Experience with the Ins-pi, ServiceNow, or theydo diagramming tools
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Ability to build and maintain positive, influential relationships across organizational boundaries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and storytelling.
Experience working in a Product Driven Agile Organization, contributing to agile release trains and ceremonies.
Demonstrated ability for out-of-the-box thinking and innovative problem-solving.

This position is a salary grade 7-8 and ranges from $99,600-$192,900.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
