
We are looking for a Business Applications Analyst to join our corporate IT team, based out of our Mississauga, Ontario office, supporting the technical operations of the GSD (Gypsum Supply Division) and PHCP (Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Piping) divisions in the United States, as well as the AD Canada Operations team. This role acts as a subject-matter resource for the operational tools that connect AD's internal teams, distributor members, and supplier partners, with particular focus on the LBMX platform, Solution Center, and EDI-related business processes. The role also carries meaningful technical responsibility for business reporting, including connecting to relational databases, writing SQL queries, and building reports in Qlik.
This is a business operations role that requires genuine technical fluency, particularly working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and BI/reporting tools such as Qlik, along with a solid understanding of EDI transaction types and the business flows they support, such as procure to pay. EDI mapping and software development are not required. This individual will be an important point of contact for our distributor members and suppliers, helping ensure a high level of satisfaction with AD's systems, processes, and information, especially when immediate assistance is needed to resolve a business or reporting issue.
This role works closely with the GSD, PHCP, and AD Canada Operations teams. Collaboration with GSD and PHCP is primarily centered on the LBMX platform and its associated business processes, while collaboration with AD Canada Operations is centered on providing data access to support reporting and process automation.
