Business Applications Administrator (MAS Asset Management & Work Order)

We are looking for strategic, results-driven Business Applications Administrators to support our transition from IBM Maximo to the Maximo Application Suite (MAS). These positions will play a critical role in Asset & Work Order Management initiatives. This role will be dedicated to the analyst team, which will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful system implementation, data integrity, and operational alignment across all stakeholders. Long term, these teams will continue to manage MAS as part of a cross-departmental structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for Asset Management & Work Orders: Preventive Maintenance, Scheduling
  • Gather, validate, and document business and technical requirements for the Maximo-to-MAS upgrade
  • Partner with IT and Operations to ensure MAS configurations meet business needs
  • Coordinate across enterprise applications to maintain alignment with organizational requirements
  • Lead data analysis and migration efforts, including cleansing, mapping, and validation for asset and work order data
  • Manage design, configuration, and testing of MAS modules for Asset Management & Work Orders: Work Order Tracking (assets, sites, labor, schedules, crews, skills, health, GIS, job plans, preventive maintenance, inspections, workflows)
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management to drive adoption
  • Develop and maintain documentation: process flows, user guides, configuration specs
  • Monitor system performance via KPI dashboards and reports, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance throughout the upgrade and lifecycle
  • Provide strategic input on Asset Management practices and system enhancements to support long-term utility goals



Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Asset Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in business analysis within Asset & Work Order Management
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise system upgrades or implementations, ideally in a utility environment
  • Strong knowledge of IBM Maximo and/or MAS, including relevant modules (Asset Management, Work Orders)
  • IBM Maximo/MAS certifications are a plus
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and foster cross-department collaboration

Preferred Skills

  • Experience leading MAS implementation or upgrade projects
  • Knowledge of Asset Management best practices
  • Familiarity with utility asset/work order standards
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
  • Understanding of BABOK and ITIL frameworks
