As a Business Application Specialist, you will play a critical role in connecting customer needs with powerful system solutions, ensuring smooth processes, and supporting daily operations that directly impact our customers’ success.
The role will be based at our Norwegian offices in Helsfyr, Oslo, or Stavern.
As a Business Application Specialist, you will configure and implement business systems, perform daily troubleshooting, and support both technical and strategic projects. You will act as the bridge between customer needs and system solutions, working closely with developers, product teams, and customer success managers to ensure our systems are optimized, reliable, and scalable.
You will be part of a small, agile team where your contributions truly matter. Your work will range from solving urgent customer issues to supporting system upgrades and process improvements, helping our customers get the most value from our platforms.
A typical day in this role involves:
Configuring and supporting business systems, including advanced SQL queries
Leading implementations for new and existing customers, ensuring smooth onboarding and setup
Collaborating with developers to improve products based on real user feedback
Performing daily troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges
Handling both urgent customer cases and larger, long-term system enhancements
Participating in system upgrades and onboarding projects to ensure seamless transitions
About you
You are an experienced system professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and optimizing business processes. You have a strong interest in IT systems, automation, and reporting, and are proactive, solution-oriented, and motivated by delivering high-quality results. You enjoy collaborating with multiple teams and translating customer needs into actionable system solutions.
Key skills and experience we are looking for:
Strong technical support and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English
Experience with web services, integrations (REST/SOAP), and business systems
Familiarity with automation, reporting tools, and system upgrades
Good to have skills:
Experience in telecom and related industry processes
Interest in AI applications for business systems
Higher education in IT (preferred but not required)
