The Waimakariri District Council is seeking to appoint a Business and Technology Solution (BATS) Team Leader on a permanent basis, at our service centre in Rangiora, North Canterbury.
We are looking for a savvy and motivated person to lead our innovative and enthusiastic BATS team, where digital transformation is in our DNA. You will be a trusted advisor in all aspects of our IT application environment, and provide support to all departments of the Council, as well as the CIO.
As leader of our BATS team, you will be providing strategic and technical direction for all business applications, in line with our architecture, to ensure that they enable business value to all parts of the organisation.
This role will also play a key part in shaping the BATS team and its key service delivery on the back of our recent implementation of our new, next generation Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution.
Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to build strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders in the provision of high-quality solutions and results.

• Identify and manage risks associated with the Council’s application environment.
