Business and Product Insights Lead - Instant Ink

HP is seeking a Business and Product Insights Lead to support the Instant Ink Category organization. This Specialist-level role combines business performance analysis with product and onramp insights to inform portfolio, go-to-market, and growth decisions. The role is responsible for translating data into clear recommendations, improving insight accessibility and quality, and helping scale modern analytics and AI-enabled decision support across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead day-to-day business and product performance analysis across Instant Ink, identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Own insights for product introductions, onramp performance, and key growth initiatives across P1, P2, and page plans.
- Support onramp growth initiatives through strong data accuracy, attribution, and performance insight across retail, HP Store, support, Smart App, and marketing channels.
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to answer critical business questions and inform action.
- Improve dashboards, data models, and reporting outputs to increase accessibility, consistency, and speed of decision-making.
- Champion data integrity, insight quality, and the use of scalable analytics and AI-enabled tools

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in statistics, econometrics, engineering, computer science, analytics, business, or a related quantitative field.
- Typically 5+ years of experience in business insights, product analytics, strategy, or a related analytical role, ideally in subscription, digital, marketing, sales, or consumer services environments.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to translate data into business insight.
- Experience applying AI and advanced analytics to improve insight generation and decision support.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to connect performance signals to product and go-to-market actions.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work across virtual and cross-functional teams and present complex analyses clearly.
- Experience working with large customer, product, and transactional databases, including SQL.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, or Qlik.
