Job Title: Business & Data Analyst

The Business & Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing business performance, customer trends, and operational data to improve efficiency, profitability, and service quality in a commercial laundry business. This role involves collecting and interpreting data, identifying key insights, and recommending strategies for pricing, business growth, cost reduction, and process optimisation. The analyst will work closely with operations, sales, and finance teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Analysis

• Gather and analyze operational, financial, and customer data.
• Update and analyze the pricing guidebook to ensure consistency and competitiveness.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
• Identify trends and patterns to improve efficiency and profitability.

2. Business Performance Monitoring

• Develop dashboards and reports for management review.
• Analyse revenue, costs, and operational efficiency to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide data-driven insights to support pricing strategies, cost control, and resource allocation.

3. Process Optimisation

• Assess workflow and suggest process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Identify bottlenecks in laundry operations and recommend solutions.
• Work with the operations team to optimize machine utilization and reduce downtime.

4. Customer Insights & Market Research

• Analyze customer preferences, retention rates, and feedback.
• Identify new market opportunities and potential customer segments.
• Support marketing and sales teams with data-driven insights for targeted promotions.

5. Technology & Automation

• Assist in implementing data management systems and automation tools.
• Support the integration of software for inventory, scheduling, and customer management.
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of business records.

6. Reporting & Strategy Development

• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on business performance.
• Present findings and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in business analysis, data analytics, or operations management (preferably in a service-based industry).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Google Analytics, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to interpret data and present insights clearly to management.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry operations is a plus.
