Job Description

At Medtronic you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.

A Day in the Life

Are you a data-driven professional who turns numbers into decisions? We are looking for a Business Analytics Analyst to join our Saudi Arabia commercial team — a high-visibility individual contributor role that sits at the heart of how we plan, measure, and improve our business performance. You will work directly with the Process Improvement Manager to support demand planning, inventory health analysis, and cross-functional reporting across multiple business units. This is a rare opportunity to make a tangible impact on patient outcomes by ensuring our commercial operations run with precision and insight.

Based in Jeddah and operating under a hybrid work model, you will collaborate closely with teams across commercial operations, supply chain, customer service, demand planning, finance, pricing, and regulatory affairs. The role requires periodic engagement with regional stakeholders. You will work across a diverse product portfolio — including cardiovascular, surgical, and neuroscience technologies — and contribute directly to our Integrated Business Planning, a global program that is core to our strategy.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Support end-to-end process improvement initiatives by analyzing current-state workflows across inventory health, replenishment cycles, and revenue-impacting processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Build and maintain performance tracking tools that monitor financial forecast accuracy, invoicing trends, unit demand alignment, and inventory health indicators across business units
  • Prepare structured analytical reports and dashboards on a monthly basis — with increased frequency during critical fiscal periods — to support timely decision-making by commercial and supply chain leaders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data inputs and ensure alignment on business performance metrics
  • Contribute to the Integrated Business Planning by providing country-level data analysis and coordinating inputs from nominated demand planning leads

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business data analytics, computer information systems, or a related field
  • Minimum two years of experience in a sales operations or business analytics role — ideally within a healthcare, medical devices, or multinational environment
  • Proficiency in Power BI & Microsoft Office for data modelling, forecasting, and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across functions and influence without direct authority
  • Familiarity with demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain processes is desirable
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle
