Are you our new Business Analyst, Workday Financials

The purpose of the Business Analyst role is to ensure ongoing development, maintenance and support of Intrum’s group Finance system Workday Financials with a primary focus on continuous improvement, changes to finance processes and systems, and finance system integrations developments as well as updates to existing integrations

What will you do:

  • Analyze business requirements and system integrations within the architecture of the Workday Financials system and middleware and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications and stories in Jira
  • Consult with banks, treasury, finance CoE and technical teams about banking requirements including interface design and maintenance;
  • Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations and well as new integrations
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, clear documentation and assistence with problem resolution where appropriate
  • Participate in design and conduct of unit and integration tests to ensure integrations function as designed based on functional and technical requirements
  • Understand and follow Data Governance and ensure attention to data quality
  • Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices
  • Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards
  • Provide input and knowledge sharing with Product Owner, Group Finance Applicaions Team Members, and clients as appropriate

What we´re looking for:

  • Understand financial and accounting processes generally (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Banking) and invoicing, banking, and payment settlement processes specifically, for example banking integration files.
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, leadership and third parties
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
  • Experience with Agile development processes and Scrum framework, knowledge of Jira a plus
  • Knowledge of Workday integration tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, Standard Connectors) a plus
