Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and interface specifications.
Identify potential design or solution challenges early in the project lifecycle and highlight possible business or operational impacts.
Collaborate closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, QA, and deployment teams throughout the solution development lifecycle.
Ensure solutions meet customer expectations by supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation activities, and requirement traceability.
Investigate issues encountered during testing and production releases, recommending practical solutions and workarounds.
Evaluate system performance, stability, and scalability, and propose improvements to enhance overall solution quality.
Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager and key stakeholders.
Support stakeholder communication, change management initiatives, and post-deployment activities when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within government, automation, or security technology environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to ask insightful questions and accurately interpret stakeholder responses.
Excellent documentation and writing skills for requirements, design specifications, and use-case documentation.
Strong analytical capabilities to quickly understand customer processes and translate them into system workflows.
Effective problem-solving skills with a structured and methodical approach to issue resolution.
Ability to scope and prioritize requirements while assessing the feasibility of proposed solutions.
Reliable, adaptable, and proactive, with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Experience in border control systems, biometrics, automation solutions, or public sector IT projects is an added advantage.
