Shape the Future of Regional Trade Finance Transformation

We are seeking an experienced Business Architect / Business Analyst to join our Technology Solutions team and play a key role in transforming and modernizing Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance capabilities across Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, and international markets.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of business strategy, digital transformation, process innovation, and technology delivery. You will collaborate with business leaders, product owners, operations teams, architects, technology teams, and solution vendors to shape future-state business capabilities, customer journeys, and platform solutions.

Whether you are an experienced Business Analyst looking to expand into Business Architecture, or a Trade Finance SME seeking broader regional exposure, this role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to large-scale transformation initiatives while deepening expertise across one of banking's most strategic domains.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Trade & Supply Chain Finance Transformation

  • Drive business analysis, solutioning, and implementation activities for regional Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance initiatives.

  • Support the modernization and transformation of trade products, processes, operating models, and technology platforms.

  • Partner closely with stakeholders across markets to balance regional standardization with local business and regulatory requirements.

Build Deep Domain Expertise

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Trade Finance and Supply Chain solutions across regional markets, including:

  • Letter of Credit (Import & Export)

  • Documentary Collection

  • Banker’s Guarantee / Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC)

  • Invoice Financing

  • Account Receivable Purchase / Receivables Finance

  • Understand the end-to-end product lifecycle and operational processes from initiation through fulfillment and settlement.

Shape Business and Solution Architecture

  • Design and document end-to-end business processes, business architecture artefacts, system interactions, interfaces, data flows, and integration points.

  • Define future-state business processes and solution designs aligned with strategic business objectives.

  • Support business capability mapping, process optimization, and target operating model initiatives.

Partner with Business and Product Stakeholders

  • Engage business leaders, product managers, and operations teams to understand strategic priorities and business requirements.

  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution requirements.

  • Support prioritization of system enhancements, product capabilities, and transformation initiatives based on business value.

Drive Solution Innovation

  • Conduct impact assessments, feasibility studies, and business process reviews.

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, straight-through processing, operational efficiency, and process automation.

  • Recommend innovative solutions leveraging technology and industry best practices.

Enable Successful Delivery

  • Collaborate with system vendors, architects, developers, and project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

  • Ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives, architecture standards, and implementation best practices.

  • Support solution validation, testing, and deployment activities across regional markets.

Contribute to Team Growth

  • Share domain expertise and best practices with business analysts and project teams.

  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced analysts where applicable.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Business Analysis and Business Architecture practices.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • Experience in Business Analysis, Business Architecture, Product Delivery, Consulting, Transformation, or related roles within Banking or Financial Services.

  • Experience in Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, or Transaction Banking domains is highly desirable.

  • Experience supporting regional or multi-country implementations will be advantageous.

Domain Knowledge

Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Trade Finance

  • Supply Chain Finance

  • Receivables Finance

  • Corporate and Commercial Banking

  • Transaction Banking

  • Knowledge of regional trade operations, regulatory requirements, and customer journeys would be an advantage.

Analytical & Solutioning Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to evaluate complex business challenges and translate them into practical and scalable solutions.

  • Experience in process modeling, impact assessment, requirements analysis, and solution design.

Stakeholder Management

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, documentation, and presentation skills.

  • Comfortable engaging stakeholders across business, operations, technology, and leadership teams.

  • Ability to build consensus and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.

Digital & Technology Exposure
