Job DetailsJob Location: CFI Main Campus - Milwaukee, WI 53233Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Bachelor's DegreeTravel Percentage: Minimal; Less than 10%Job Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesJob Purpose: The Business Analyst acts as the vital link between CFI Programs, HR, Finance, Strategic Ops, Legal, MarComm and the IT Department. While IT handles the technical integration, configuration, and maintenance, this role serves as the Business Owner for CFI’s critical toolset, including MyAvatar (EHR), Mongoose, PowerBI, and Generations. Your primary focus is ensuring these tools translate complex regulatory, legislative, and operational needs into functional system workflows.

Functional Bridge: Serve as the primary liaison between IT (application support team) and Shared Services/Programs (user needs) to ensure tools like MyAvatar and Mongoose meet operational requirements.
Dashboard Governance: Own the functional and UI requirements of PowerBI dashboards to track KPIs and operational measures.
System Modernization: Guide the evolution of tools to embrace the disability space, focusing on accessibility, neurodiversity, and cultural competency.
Documentation: Lead the documentation of business processes and system redesigns to ensure software supports efficient workflows.
Regulatory Tracking: Monitor regulatory updates and translate those changes into system requirements to notify programs of risks and opportunities.
Risk & Safety: Partner with the Quality and Risk Management task force to ensure systems support patient safety, caregiver misconduct tracking, and BCP.
Contractual Oversight: Ensure tools are configured to manage contract compliance, reporting, and various accreditation standards.
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): Facilitate the flow of data between programs and leadership to support ongoing CQI efforts.

QualificationsRequired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum Required Experience: 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, systems liaison, or project management. Proven experience managing or implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR) or data visualization tools. 2 years of experience in a healthcare, disability services, or complex regulatory/legislative environment preferred.

Travel Type: Less than 10%
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proven ability to translate business needs from departments like HR, Finance, and Legal into actionable requirements for IT teams.
Familiarity with government relations, grant funding cycles, and regulatory compliance in the disability or healthcare space.
Strong ability to use data to communicate community needs and advocacy priorities.
Hands-on experience as a business owner for internal tools. Knowledge of any CFI platforms a plus (MyAvatar (EHR), Mongoose, Generations, or PowerBI).
Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity, and Work Conditions:
Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal.
