In this role, you'll:

Are you an experienced Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions in a complex enterprise environment?

Transport for NSW is seeking a talented Business Analyst (Grade 8) to support the delivery of strategic projects and digital initiatives. Working across diverse portfolios, you will engage with stakeholders, analyse business processes, define requirements and contribute to the successful design and implementation of business and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and consultation sessions to gather and validate requirements.
• Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts including process maps, user stories, requirements documentation and business case inputs.
• Analyse current-state processes and identify opportunities for operational and service improvements.
• Assess solution options, business impacts, risks and benefits to support informed decision-making.
• Support change impact assessments, business readiness activities and implementation planning.
• Work across multiple projects and initiatives within a complex stakeholder environment.

About you

• Proven experience delivering business analysis services within large, complex programs or projects.
• Strong experience developing requirements, process models, user stories and business analysis documentation.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse business problems, evaluate options and develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or Business Analysis certifications such as ECBA, PMI-PBA, AAC, CFLBA or equivalent are highly regarded
