
A Penske Logistics Business Analyst manages multiple streams of data, develops visualizations, and implements strategic solutions. This work brings insights, which drives actions for the larger team. This role supports one account in the Supply Chain Management division of Penske. Good communication, time management, and attention to detail are essential. This role frequently collaborates with other groups to find solutions and share best practices in data management and visualization, and it requires cross-functional engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
A successful Business Analyst provides tactical support to enhance the strategic mission of the team, ensuring customer goals are met, in partnership with leaders and colleagues. They are enthusiastic about data, metrics, and logistics. Data management, including modeling and cataloguing, is their expertise. They are curious thinkers, creative problem solvers, and are eager to grow their career in a supportive and highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications:
1 – 3 years comparable work experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Fundamental understanding of transportation, supply chain, and logistics concepts is required.
Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
Experience with data and reporting development is required.
Experience with SAP Business Intelligence and/or Transportation Management Systems is preferred.
Proficiency in data processing and visualization software is required – e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, other ETL tools.
Intermediate/advanced experience with Microsoft Office Excel is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Access is preferred.
Consistently demonstrates ability to learn and use necessary tools.
Ability to follow processes and standard procedures is required.
Ability to work with various systems, within multiple applications at once, and to solve problems/troubleshoot is required.
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
