We are seeking a Business Data Analyst – Maternity Cover expected for approx. 1 year - for the Supply Chain & Procurement function to design and build power BI reporting to strengthen performance management and decision-making across planning, sourcing, purchasing and supplier performance.
The role translates Operations priorities into measurable KPIs and reliable insights by working closely with functional leadership, Business Process Owners, the Group Analytics team, and relevant domain teams. A key focus is ensuring that required data and master data are defined, governed, and available so performance can be measured consistently across regions, suppliers, and processes.
The Business Data Analyst supports operational execution, cost control, and continuous improvement by providing transparency on performance drivers and enabling fact-based decision-making.
Initial focus will be on Supply Chain & Procurement, with a potential scope expansion into Operations and Quality.
Supply chain & procurement performance
Understand supply chain and procurement processes, pain points, and performance drivers
Collaborate with Business Process Owners to ensure performance measurement aligns with standardized end-to-end processes
Support embedding of KPIs and performance measurement into supply chain and procurement routines and decision forums
KPI definition & measurability
Define and maintain supply chain and procurement KPIs together with functional leadership
Ensure required metrics are measurable by aligning process and data requirements with Business Process Owners and domain teams
Establish clear KPI definitions, calculation logic, and thresholds to avoid local interpretation
Data analysis, insights & reporting
Analyze performance data related to supply chain planning, warehousing & distribution, and procurement
Identify trends, risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities across service, cost, and reliability
Define and develop KPIs and Power BI reports
Deliver decision-oriented insights supporting operational execution and continuous improvement
Master data, data quality & readiness
Ensure supply chain and procurement–relevant master data (e.g. suppliers, materials, pricing conditions, lead times, planning parameters, contracts) enables reliable measurement
Identify and drive resolution of data quality issues impacting KPIs and performance transparency
Support and validate data readiness during system changes, including data migration, testing, and deployment activities
Data guidance & functional expertise
Act as the primary point of contact within Supply Chain & Procurement for data, KPIs, and performance reporting
Support managers and teams in understanding metric logic, data limitations, and performance drivers
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, business, or related field
+3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or performance management/analytics
Experience working with ERP and supply chain/procurement-related data
Solid understanding of supply chain and procurement master data and KPIs
Strong English communication skills
Strong operational and analytical mindset
Ability to translate supply chain and procurement needs into measurable KPIs and data requirements
Structured, fact-based problem-solving approach
Clear and pragmatic communication with manufacturing stakeholders
Continuous improvement mindset
High attention to data quality and consistency
Experience working with Power BI
Successful reporting of existing supply chain and procurement KPIs into PowerBI (inventory, scrap, shipping performance)
Established S&OP reporting dashboard in PowerBI (Demand Plans, Supply Plans, Financials + KPIs)
Definition of future KPIs (product availability, backorders, delivery performance, sales planning accuracy)
Maintain existing PowerBI reporting for SC&P, Operations, Quality
Successful identification of improvement opportunities (new reporting / visualization, potential projects)
