Business Analyst Supervisor

As a Business Analyst Supervisor, you will drive innovation by managing mission-critical software systems and overseeing the seamless integration of advanced infrastructure, data workflows, and applications. In this high-impact leadership role, you will serve as the strategic liaison between the agency and the Division of Technology Services (DTS), acting as a subject matter expert to recommend and implement system enhancements that empower our teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation by overseeing the establishment and stewardship of enterprise data assets, including infrastructure, repositories, and web services.
  • Serve as the primary strategic liaison with the Division of Technology Services (DTS), ensuring infrastructure aligns with our mission-critical business needs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, best practices, and continuous process improvement.
  • Design and maintain advanced analytic methods to evaluate enterprise data, ensuring insights drive informed agency decisions.
  • Develop and manage data dictionaries, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across the organization.
  • Anticipate and assess the impact of new software, recommending enhancements and technical solutions that optimize our systems.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying problem areas and collaborating with support teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide high-level technical guidance to management and end-users, while overseeing system security, configurations, and user permissions.
  • Coordinate standards compliance and evaluate vendor products to select projects that maximize software functionality and cost-effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) field along with four (4) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling eight (8) years.
  • Proficiency in systems evaluation and analysis, including identifying performance measures and assessing environmental impacts on outcomes.
  • Strong deductive and inductive reasoning skills to apply and update rules for evolving technology stacks and derive conclusions from complex data.
  • Proven experience managing large, disorganized, or incomplete datasets by identifying gaps and resolving inconsistencies.

Preferences

  • Experience with Bentley Systems.
  • Experience with GCP - Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with GIS principles, applications and data interface.
