Job Purpose:The Research Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth market research and data analysis to identify trends, technologies, and policy impacts in the solar industry. This role supports strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on comprehensive competitor and market assessments.

Market Analysis:

• Conduct research on changing demand and supply trends in the solar industry, focusing on emerging markets and customer segments.

Technology Assessment:

• Evaluate new technologies and innovations in solar manufacturing (Ingot, Wafer, Cell and Module) and analyze their potential impact on cost and efficiency.

Policy Monitoring:

• Track government policies affecting the solar manufacturing sector, assessing their adequacy and potential implications for the business.

Competitor Benchmarking:

• Analyze competitors, especially in China, to identify cost advantages and economies of scale benefits that could inform strategic decisions.

Data Compilation and Analysis:

• Collect and analyze data related to expansion opportunities in new geographic markets and technologies.

Financial Modeling Support:

• Assist in developing financial models to evaluate the feasibility of potential new plants, expansions and other strategic imperatives

Reporting:

• Prepare reports summarizing research findings and insights for presentation to the strategic planning team.

Risk Assessment:

• Identify potential risks associated with market changes and propose strategies to mitigate these risks.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
