Business Analyst: (Strategic Initiatives: Agile Project Support)

Purpose of Job:

The primary focus of this role is to support a cross-functional scrum delivery team in defining and delivering strategic business projects and initiatives.

The Business Analyst will serve as the main interface to various business units such as Product, Claims, Customer Care, Underwriting, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, and BI teams, gaining an understanding of operational processes.

This role involves translating business requirements into functional/system requirements and supporting technology change delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

Business Analysis

• Assist in Requirements Gathering Help execute business-level requirements gathering sessions for small to medium-sized projects under supervision.
• Support Requirements Analysis: Assist in analyzing and decomposing complex requirements with guidance.
• Document Processes Help document As-Is and To-Be business processes.
• Create Documentation: Documenting requirements, creating functional specifications, and preparing wireframes/flowcharts.
• Validate Functionality Support the validation of the end product's functionality according to requirement specifications.

Scrum and Agile Activities

• Support Backlog Maintenance Assist in creating and maintaining the DA Thailand Backlog and help ensure the Product Backlog is groomed before planning meetings.
• Participate in Scrum Ceremonies Attend and support key scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, refinements, planning, and review sessions.

IT Change Management

• Assist in IT Planning: Help plan IT change activities and identify dependencies with guidance.
• Collaborate on IT Changes Work with managers and staff within DA Thailand and across IT to support IT change delivery.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Support User Acceptance Testing Assist in coordinating and executing user acceptance testing.

Incident and Issue Resolution

• Incident and Issue Resolution Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and analyze incidents and production issues, working closely with IT to provide resolutions.

Collaboration and Communication

• Assist in Requirements Gathering: Help execute business-level requirements gathering sessions for small to medium-sized projects under supervision.
• Collaborate on IT Changes: Work with managers and staff within DA Thailand and across IT to support IT change delivery.
• Incident and Issue Resolution Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and analyze incidents and production issues, working closely with IT to provide resolutions.
