Cruise Administration Services, Inc. (CASI), a Carnival Cruise Line entity in the Philippines, is currently looking for a Sr. Business Analyst Fleet Finance Operations (Data & Analytics)

The Senior Business Analyst (Data & Analytics) is responsible for delivering data-driven insights to optimize shipboard finance operations. This role focuses on analytics, reporting, and business intelligence, supporting strategic decision-making across Finance Operations. The role includes partnerships with Financial Analytics, Finance Planning, and Financial Technology teams to develop reporting solutions, interpret data trends, and enhance financial visibility across the fleet.

Essential functions:

  • Develop Advanced Analytics & BI Solutions
    Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and business intelligence tools to enable real-time visibility into financial and operational performance. Implement and utilize AI-enabled analytics feature s.
  • Perform Data Mining & Trend Analysis
    Extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
  • Decision Support

    Collaborate with Fleet Finance Management and other stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights to support leadership in optimizing financial performance, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness. Train other staff to utilize newly created visual tools.

  • Lead KPI Design & Performance Measurement
    Design and develop KPIs that measure success across shipboard finance operations, projects, and initiatives. Ensures transparency and visibility into performance drivers, risks and trends.
  • Provide Operational & Analytical Support to Finance Teams
    Offer ongoing analytical support and ad-hoc reporting to Fleet Finance Operations to ensure continuity and responsiveness to business needs.

Qualifications:

  • With bachelor's degree in business informatics, Data Science, Statistics degree or other related field of study

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in business analysis, FP&A, or data analytics, with understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • Proven ability to perform data mining, modeling, and analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights
  • With experience across the data lifecycle, including sourcing, validation, and visualization, using financial systems and BI tools
  • Knowledge of SQL, OBIEE, EPM, Power BI, AI enabled queries and with strong understanding of financial and payroll data analysis
  • Must have strong command of Microsoft Office programs, advanced level of MS Excel
  • Familiarity with other data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms and script development
  • Proficient in Accounting and Information System methodologies, tools, best practices, processes and controls
