Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Business Analyst serves as the lead resource for all financial activities within the Simms Mann Center, including management and analysis of financial data used for fiscal close, budgeting processes, grant reporting, and other operational needs as directed by leadership. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining spreadsheets and database tools to support departmental operations and reporting needs. The Business Analyst also serves as the primary data analyst for the department, generating reports related to patient volumes, visit counts, provider productivity, demographics, and other key metrics. In addition, this position leads credentialing coordination efforts for new hires and oversees ongoing re-credentialing requirements for existing staff.

Salary Range: $37.60-78.35 Hourly

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience/training.
• Proven ability using spreadsheet and database software for complex financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reports.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting resources.
• Ability to independently gather required information to organize and perform financial analysis assignments.
• Proven ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven interpersonal skills with peers throughout the organization; strong service orientation and critical thinking skills; and attention to detail. Proven ability using organizational skills to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to function as a member of a team.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

• Five (5) years financial accounting experience, inclusive of preparing and reporting budgets and other financial statements.
• Prior experience with EPIC, QDB or COGNOS databases
