Manager – Business Analyst / Product Owner (RMS)

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Business Analyst / Product Owner to lead business analysis, product ownership, and stakeholder engagement for the Revenue Management System (RMS) platform. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams to drive product enhancements, strategic initiatives, process optimization, and delivery execution.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills, product management experience, and an ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy

• Own and manage the RMS product backlog, roadmap, and prioritization process.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define product vision, objectives, and success metrics.
• Translate strategic business goals into actionable features, user stories, and delivery plans.
• Evaluate competing priorities and make recommendations that maximize business value.

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with business and operational teams to understand challenges and opportunities.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, business rules, and use cases.
• Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and aligned with business objectives.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary liaison between business users, product teams, and technology partners.
• Build strong relationships with Finance, Operations, Revenue Management, Risk, Compliance, and Technology stakeholders.
• Communicate product updates, risks, dependencies, and delivery status to leadership.
• Drive alignment and consensus across multiple stakeholder groups.

Delivery & Execution

• Partner closely with development and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and business sign-off activities.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, controls, and user experience.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and simplification initiatives.
• Leverage data and metrics to support decision-making and prioritization.
• Promote continuous improvement and adoption of best practices.

Governance & Risk Management

• Ensure regulatory, compliance, audit, and operational requirements are appropriately captured and implemented.
• Manage requirement traceability and change management processes.
• Support risk assessments and remediation initiatives impacting the RMS platform.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• MBA in finance will be preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Product Management, or related roles.
• Proven experience managing complex business initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and product management practices.
• Experience working with enterprise applications supporting Finance, Revenue, Operations, or Data-driven processes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Revenue Management, Accounting, Account Receivable, Financial Services, Asset Management, or Banking domains.
• Exposure to data-driven decision-making, reporting, analytics, and business performance management.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing competing priorities.
