PwC Ireland isseekingan experienced and highly motivated Business AnalystSenior Associateto join our dynamicBusiness Analysis Team in Tech Central within the Business Enablement Solutions (BES) line of service

The successful candidate willsupportthe successful implementation of large-scale systems and emerging technologies, including Generative AI (GenAI) solutionsto supporttransformation change projects and continuous improvementacross all lines of serviceincluding BES, Tax, Assurance and Consulting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery ofbusiness analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, and internal teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for complex projects involving GenAI and other innovative technologies.

  • Support the delivery ofprocess analysis workshops withinternalstakeholders to map current state processes,identifypain points, and design future state improvementsleveraginginnovative technologiesto optimise business workflows and enhance operationalefficiency.

  • Supportdevelopment teams and external vendorsin the translation ofbusiness requirements into technical specifications.

  • Support theimplementation of large-scale systems,workingwithmultidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that meet regulatory and businessobjectives

  • Engage and subscribe totheculture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharingwithin the team and internal stakeholders.

  • Appreciate and considerproject risks, issues, and dependencies related to business analysis and solution delivery.

Education/Professional Qualifications

Candidatesmust hold athird level qualification in an IT related disciplineA focus on AI, machine learning or natural language processing would beadvantageous

Candidates should hold abusiness analysis certification in one or more of the following:

  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)

  • CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis)

  • PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)

  • Agile Business Analyst Certification (e.g., PMI-ACP,ICAgileCertified Professional)

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certification

Project management certifications will beadvantageoussuch as PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner and/orPMI-PMP

Experience Required:

  • 5yearsof progressive business analysis experience.

  • Proventrack recordinthe delivery ofprocess analysis workshops, process mapping, business process analysis, and leading process improvement initiativesleveragingtechnology.

  • Proven experience in AI, automation, or technology enablement within tax, finance, or related professional services.

  • Experience in implementing large-scale technology solutions, ideally within professional services environments.

  • Demonstrated experience with Generative AI (GenAI) solutions implementation is highlyadvantageous

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working with developers and vendors.

  • Understanding of Tax, Assurance, and/or Consulting business processes and regulatory frameworks isadvantageous

  • Experience working within professional services firmsadvantageous
